Thats interesting , wondering what it was like serving in the navy before, I'm trying to remember if USS midway was commissioned latter part of war , probably after the war ...

OT: Midway was commissioned after the war. My landlord also served on Nimitz-class carriers, where the working conditions are significantly better.
