USB reboots my PC?

that happened to my friend's usb before. he inserted it wrongly the first time and the guide to the usb was dislodge. so every time he inserts it back it reboots coz he is short circuiting the usb drive. double check your slot and if so it is dislodge try to replace it back using a plastic material so as to no short circuit it again.

ok have you checked the slot for the usb? do you use only one slot or multiple usb slots? does it happens only to one slot? when it reboots does it show a blue screen?

i had already checked the slot and used the back and front slot but the problem is still there. There was no blue screen as what others have experienced.

siopao is right i suggest if you doubt you're gadgets are not working properly or behaving on the right way just try it on a different computer and if you're experiencing the same it might be a faulty gadget you have..^_^..

You got it right bro, confirmed my USB is defective through testing another USB drive.

yup..mudagan raman sa uban na PC galibog pud ko ngano sa akong PC kay naa cyay problema...pero ako man gisuwayan ug 4 ka USB ako PC nya wala man na nag reboot.

Para sayon maypag dispose nalang ang USB nya ilisdan bag-o.

Try ug install imong pc ug autorun eater
free download rana e search lang sa yahoo or google...
Then try to insert any usb or flash drive
then kung naay mo pop-up e click lang remove...
Kung wala pa gani e system scan na u pc...might be a virus ang naka block ana...
