very common mistakes by noobs...confusing system memory and graphics memory and vice versa.
graphics memory has nothing to do with system memory...
a graphics card is a separate system of its own...

in purchasing a new graphics card, look at the following basics;
a. graphics card interface on the motherboard either a PCI-E 2.0/1.0 or an AGP.
b. your current power supply and graphics card power requirements
c. graphics card cooling

ang kanagn 512Mb, AND 1024Mb is the data size of your VRAM altogether. ang kanang 64 bit, 128 bit, and other are all called buswidth. It carries data of a 64-bit or any buswidth size per cycle sa usa ka lane. the memory-bus is what connects your GPU and VRAM. The higher the buswidth, the better performance.

SIMPLE LOGIC (EDITED)

Try thinking the GPU as one side of a river and the other side which is your VRAM. The memory bus is a ferry that does rounds to transport people from one side to the other. so if 64-bit ra xa, then 64 ra ka tawo iyang maferry at one instance then another 64 to ferry at the other side. the same principle is applied to the other buswidths. so if mas dako ang ferry, mas-dakodako imong data fetching and transferring.

yeah definitely! kay ako inno3d jud ko! Inno3D labi na ang GTs OK kaau ang performance and durability. when it comes sa warranty way problema kay dali ra ipa RMA kay ang supplier naa ra dha sa cebu ang global axis. i wud suggest inno3d 9400GT and 9600GT. katong karaan ok lng sad except sa 8300GT/8400gt... mdyo di kaau okay. mas ok pa ang karaan na 7300GT.
