Aguinaldo.. is he not the source of the "Aguinaldo doctrine". Proof that the Supreme Court has been an obedient dog of Presidents since time immemorial. No wonder we are screwed up, so many people have no spines in them.

I'd like to think that Chief Justice Davide did a fine job during his time; he was independent and was highly respected.

In older times, Jose Abad Santos was also an excellent chief magistrate, which is why the Japanese really had him captured here in Carcar, Cebu where he was hiding...and later had him persecuted...

Our leaders back then wanted independence from US because at that time Philippines is very nice country to live in. We have a very good economy, way better than the rest of SouthEast Asia, and belonging to the better half of Asia. If MLQ and the rest of our leaders were here today they wouldnt have pushed for independence they just didnt see it coming.

Our country will never rise up if we elect irresponsible politicians. I'm not just referring to presidents but councilors, mayors and even brgy. tanod! We need somebody who can overhaul our entire government. Someone with an iron gip(but not a communist ha), progressive and righteous.

A simple act of responsibility during voting days will save our country from falling apart.

Idol gyud na nako si rizal....kung maka kita lng sa mga novels ni rizal as in sabto gyud ninyo halos tanan nga gipang suwat ni rizal makit-an guhapon karong panahona....like corrupt officials...abusing powers....even the religion....im not blaming the catholic members but even now i heard and see priests that are the same during spanish period because for me i am now searching for true religion that is discipline to God's teachings.....
