How to make phpmyadmin run as vhost im using xampp with apache?

still im confused forwarding using xampp application in apache configuration, i need to configure apache to relocate its links i want it to have or run as a virtualhost and give a port number to be forward by my router so i can make a dns name for it. anybody knows how to reconfigure please help.

i made a howto about this both pc,linux and mac, ambot hangtod karon wala paman gi approve sa moderator sa how to nga section.... ive done this to all my local server...

Enable/Uncomment virtualhost settings below at httpd-vhosts.conf file and change the values accordingly.

##<VirtualHost *:80>
##ServerAdmin postmaster@dummy-host.localhost
##DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs/dummy-host.localhost"
##ServerName dummy-host.localhost
##ServerAlias OpenDNS
##ErrorLog "logs/dummy-host.localhost-error.log"
##CustomLog "logs/dummy-host.localhost-access.log" combined
##</VirtualHost>

Be sure to include httpd-vhosts.conf under httpd.conf (note that these are different config files)

# Virtual hosts
Include "conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf"

Open the port and you're good to go. If not, trial and error comes in.

dude, you still have to change the system hosts files, especially if you want it to work on network.. you also forget to uncomment the NameHost....
