your country is a global city. hence, you have significant influence over world economy. money -> security. and thus you can purchase, maintain, and even develop better machinery for security. and also, historically, your country, like hongkong and taiwan, has more british influence, than american or spanish, as you can see, even india, once a british colony, along with the other british colonies mentioned have been doing well until today. i'm not blaming america nor the spaniards here, but i say the british did better on their colonies. although they were ousted from these colonies, in the end, today, theses countries are doing quite well. your country is among them. see the difference?

The reason British colonies do so well is because of the stability and time tested nature of their system
of governance, mainly the Westminster form of government which merges the executive and legislative branch to save funds and increase efficiency and their utmost respect for the rule of law with the Common Law system of justice as its foundation. In Hong Kong the justice system is further strengthened by reserving two seats at the High Court (supreme court equivalent) for esteeme judges from outside Hong Kong. Did you know for example that one of the High Court justices is a Filipino judge? I find that amazing about their system they are so open so transparent and attract brilliant judges from all over the world no wonder hong kong has the most trusted judiciary in asia. If we had the same system here our supreme court would
not have ruled in favor of pgma midnight appointments.

In summary the British system is indeed superior and time tested and proven but any system
would work if the people are competent and not pasaway...

Do you mean to say naay F-16 gi-abangan ang Philippines Air Force? Or that the United States Air Force is basing F-16s in the Philippines?

The only jet aircraft (aside from the presidential Fokker F.2 on the PAF inventory is the S211. Which is a trainer, not a fighter.

Ang latest acquisition sa PAF is a few more SF-260TP 2-seat turboprop trainers. Trainer gihapon. The PAF keeps adding trainers so it can train new pilots to fly more trainers.
