i need a heavy duty router for my internet cafe. it will be running 24/7. recommendations and why? if you can provide model number the better. thanks!

btw i'm going to use 2ISP's but not at the same time. One is just for backup. So i will be using 2 routers.

lol.. anyways... i could recommend CISCO routers... but then its too much for an I-cafe.. hahahaha.. so why wont you just use a CISCO mini wifi-LAN routers instead? check it out at SM.. they cost around 3k.. if am not wrong.. lol.. seen it only once...

the requirement is heavy duty routers, runs 24x7 w/ dual wan ports and syempre 1 port for lan...
actually depende sa budget... all the requirements can be met by all networking device in the market today

pero kung 24/7 ang operations avoid using SOHO products para walay labad sa ulo.

pude man cguro na ang linksys router lang. amo linksys raman then 24/7 man gadagan. 5 years na ron wa man gihapon maunsa.

exactly!
i bought a used Linksys WRT-54GS on eBay, loaded it with DD-WRT firmware, set it and forget it!
24/7/365, 4 years running w/o a hiccup!
also sold a couple units with the same setup to a friend who owns a hotel. set them up as wifi hotspots for guests in the lobby and coffee shop, no problem for 3 years.
