@ Zab007, it might be that your wall plug outlet has high ground rating, if you have a kurentisyan, have it tested using a tester. If its high, have it re-done kai it will still be grounded even if you do a chassis ground.

Chassis ground is placing a wire screwed on your PC Case going to the ground pole, but if the ground on you wall outlet is too high, your chassis ground is useless.

naa jud na sya gitaawag nato "ground" even touching the monitor or tv screen causes grounding. lisod na explain in layman's terms kay technical na kaayo...

if inyo outlet at home is 3 prong, have it checked if it is really connected to Earth GROUND and if it is, b all means use it by using 3-prong outlets sa imo mga plugs.

if its not 3 prong or not connected to ground, then avoid touching metallic surfaces to avoid accidental grounding.

QUESTION: ma ground ka dyapon if mag sapatos ka or mag tsinelas? or ma ground ka if you are barefooted

if YES - check you wiring sa balay... try doing chassis ground as what comcam suggested but if it will not do any good have an electrician check ur wiring

if NO - then it follows na dapat mag wear ka tsinelas or sapatos when touching your computer chassis
