FOR ALL THOSE CONCERNED RE: VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE WILL IT BE CONSIDERED AS WORK EXPERIENCE OR NOT?
wat i can only share is it would DEPEND on the employer who wish to hire you. i can say based on my personal experience when i got hired by this hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, USA is...THEY CONSIDERED MY 8MOS. VOLUNTEER PROGRAM. when i got the job offer, they just wanted to know what was my exposure and which area was it. if i was asked regarding salary, i only indicated NA or just honorarium. they didnt bother scrutinizing much BUT they looked for the letter head certification from your hospital exposure of course.

karon pa ko kadungog ani da...sa US never they asked me this documentation. however, i can remember when my barkada got hired by UK and she cant give any documentation from the hospital ky wa sya mo human sa contract (PSH to be specific) ky strict kaau ang mga madre sa larga2x ug di gusto pa alkansi mao na nimalos guro in this way. So what she did is, she had a copy of her certification for SSS filing stating that she was employed by PSH ug mao iya gihatag via iya agency towards her employer sa London.
Luck was on her side that time and they considered her infact as a OR theater RN.
ayaw gyud huna-huna-a na nagkaskas ka...think it this way, u r gaining confidence while on exposure. u are acquiring new skills each day. di man tuod ta "tech savy" sa pinas but the basic principles are taught while on exposure. this is learning and needed to be treasured. so take it in a positive way nalang and dont count how much u r spending. UNLESS ug wa na gyud kay maka-on ky u have to make priorities straight and practical!
