im saying is there is already a war there. military and milf have been having this skirmishes for a long time. the only difference is if the govt wages war on the milf, the whole army will be commited to it... more resources, more soldiers will be sent there. in short, the fighting will never end unless one side bolsters its forces, a formal declaration of war will make the army presense in mindanao more stronger and the milf will be eradicated.

and who is gonna run mindanao if they become seperate? who will intervene when some jackass warlord kills again? and if ever seperated, what will prevent some clans from taking over the territories?
