Even if you don't have a stable job,,,, but finds ways to help ease the burden at home

Correct. Make yourself useful. Though you are not directly helping out with the cash inflow, you can still do your share by giving your partner emotional support and household manpower.
Be thrifty. Take initiative. Don't nag. Minimize your complaints.
