Normal Temperature for Q8400

Guys do you know the normal temperature for COre 2 Quad Q8400?

Coz at idle I'm running at 44 - 54 degrees celcius. while at max load i'm running at 58 degrees celcius.
I'm currently using a V8 cooler.

^ there is no normal temperature for every processor, its all a perspective. processor temperature is dependent on ambient temperature. this is the same reason why you shouldn't be comparing temps with your fellow enthusiasts unless a consistent and constant ambient temperature has been made and that still doesn't even it out as each chip is unique. instead, read the range of specifications for your processor, keep it within specs and you'll be good to go - in my opinion. more information can be found on your processor's datasheet, for some reason i can't seem to access intel's website right now.

sa ambient temp jud na bai as what master poldo has said. Ako gae sa una 60 deg ang idle kai init kaayo dri sa amo...pero ako lang jud bantayan d mo lapas og 80...hehe

Grabi ba ka taas sa inyo temps oi mahadlok man sad ta ana hehe. Ako gani makuyawan naman basta muabot 40*c ang idle temp.

Payts ra ang 40c nga idle temps..quad core baya...kung ganahan ka nga moobos pana..palit og aftermarket cooler and pagaircon sa imong kwarto(if wala kay aircon) para mobugnaw imong ambient temps..

ok ra na oi pero murag taas ra kung v8 cooler imu gamit. its not serving its purpose. same2x ra cguro sa stock hsf or gamay ra difference. re.apply daw thermal then check if natarong ug taud imung v8. but your temps are fine. dont worry. max load at 58c is very safe considering core2quad na. check lang ang temp range sa imung processor. like poldo said there is no normal temp but there is a range. just keep it within then you should have no problems. btw, naka.aircon ka or wala?

depende na sa imong ambient temps bro... kung naka-aircon ka, and i-set nimo pirmi imong kwarto ug 20C, then probably init ra... pero kung walay aircon, sa ingon ani nga panahon... nga summer... normal ra na... hehehe! again depende sa ambient temps.

Its normal bro. Even gani sa akong CM GEMINI S mao raman gihapon or gamay ra jud difference using stock HSF. Mine is also quadcore Phenom and I got 40-56C loaded then I have no aircondition then init pud sa amoa. I also dont OC so in my case I think coolermaster for me is not good. Im planning to replace this.
