    Default after elections .....

.. the politics section now is appropriately filled with election propagandas and fiasco and campaigns and arguements. But the question now is this .... when everything is said and done come May elections, what will happen next ?? .

.. on the last presidential election, after the counting and the official winners are announced we get to see sore-losers, crying out THE WINNERS HAVE CHEATED, IT'S NOT FAIR, LET'S DO A RECOUNT.. BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm sure we'll be expecting the same situation.

.. and in terms of change; well, there would be an obvious change since most of the personnel in our government will be new by that time, new pres, new VP, half of the senators are new, new congressmen and so on and so forth. But my question again is would these people who in the campaign period has promised VOTE ME FOR A BETTER FUTURE, well, somewhere along those lines, but will these politicians keep their promise ?? ..

.. well, just to answer my own question and out of experience, we have all seen Gwen Garcia prior to her winning the Governor's post, we all expected a lot from her, but she impressively failed on her promises.

.. and those Senators; after having won, what are they doing ?? I'm talking about the previous winners or the present senators; look at the Senate, look at how they took importance the scandal of katrina halili, that was probably the biggest shame our senate has ever done.

.. and the congressmen; what have they been doing ?? always divided into two camps ?? The other for filing an impeachment case against Pres Gloria, while the other camp is defending our President.

.. look, what i'm trying to shout out here is there will still be no change in the philippines after the elections, these politicians whom many people have placed their hopes on, will and always will fail them. But then, i hope i'm wrong. But as history tells us, what i said is true.

that is why dli na ta dapat mag salig with these so called "officials",
diskarte nalang ta sa atng life para mo asenso, kay kng nag cge lang ug asa sa gobyerno mapareho ra ta aning mga reklamador dri sa istorya.net.
Lets changed our view from them being our "leaders" to pure public servants.

focus nalang ta sa atng life ug unsaon pag asenson..

And i think sayup na na mo ingn mo na wla nay chance ug wla nay ayu ang Pilipinas,
middle class filipinos are doing everything for this country specially those working in IT,
foriegners continue to invest because of their good performance.

Pero what politicians specially TRAPO are doing(including reklamadors na nagcgeg rally)? they are bringing this country down...

Take a look around, new buildings are being built, new jobs are being offered, almost everyone has cellphones..
Immature ra kaayu mo kng mo ingn mo na wla nay pag-asa ang Pilipinas, and you dont have the right to even complain.

Lets not dwell on the past, lets move forward...

Question: nganong naa man ghapon modatu karng panahuna na dli official sa gobyerno?

    OT:
perhaps this is how the world works, a world where injustice reigns. kung ang pinas nag una sa korapsyon ug poverty, ang uban nag una pud sa mass killings (apartheid in africa, killing fields in vietnam), terrorismo (iraq), drug traffickking (latin america), legalized prostitution (thailand). the distressing part is, murag naana mana sa pinas tanan (mass killings and terrorism in mindanao, raging drug trafficking all around the country, including prostitution and corruption of minors. makapanghupaw nalang kog lawm..

Thumbs up don't give up hope

    @ts
your frustrations are shared by many among here. the sad part about your ramblings is that you seem to have already given up hope. you have given up hope that the election will bring about little change. well you could be right sir but you have in your hand the power to prove yourself wrong. your vote. don't lose hope in the power of your vote. vote wisely. exert your influence among your immediate circle. well don't force them to vote like you do but make certain they don't make "dumb" choices

there are no certainties in this here race sir but the good news is that we could try again in another six years. wash-rinse-repeat until everything is clean. impossible of course in the world of politics but as long as the stain is barely visible that'll do.

in the meantime let's be model citizens. get a job/business. pay your taxes. obey traffic rules. don't bribe the enforcer when caught. don't pickup prostis. well at least not 14yr old prostis. i kid, i kid.

That's because of OUR FAULT!! We VOTE ON PROMISES, NOT ON ACHIEVEMENTS.
We VOTE on WHO IS POPULAR NOT ON WHO HAS A GOOD TRACK RECORD.
We VOTE on WHO gives money on elections NOT ON WHO HAS GIVEN JOBS BEFORE.
We VOTE on people we LIKE NOT on people who are NEEDED and QUALIFIED.

We DON'T THINK when we VOTE!

HAAAAAY!!!!

    GOD SAVE THE PHILIPPINES!!

.. sorry, but your statements here are very selfish. Yes, there have been lots of development lately, but you're only looking at Cebu and Manila, have you ever been to the provinces ?? Have you seen any development there We, the middle class are the fortunates one's, but those living in the lower class really needs help from the government.
