another question, why only Chile?

I presumed, in theory, that after the killer quakes in Haiti and Chile, are parts of their fault lines that somehow intertwined with the pacific ring of fire. How come the quake change time? I mean Chile , by record, is the cradle of the most killer quakes recorded in history, meaning kada linog nila mu tarog sad ang time? weh? The planet is huge, one little shake in its side can't cause any ruckus..
