anyway, banning boxing is impossible. it's a sport that's been around for ages, it's a too little too late now to ban it.
and if you become president, you'll have much more important things on your hands to deal with that you won't have time to even just propose banning the sport in the country, which btw will be met with strong opposition ergo, an angry mob at your door.
plus if boxing is banned, a lot of people will be left jabless(pun intended :P).


anyway, you think boxing is brutal? clearly you do not know about the existence of UFC and the like.

boxing is a very technical sport..you can win a match without really hurting your opponent..knocking your opponent out is just a fast way of wining the match..tanawa ang match ni clottey ug pacquiao, wala jud na hurt kaau si clottey but nidaog ghapon si pacquiao..mas dako pa ug risk sa injury ang basketbol and american football..even golf which is a non contact sport can lead to an injury sa wrist and hand..boxers are athletes and they prepare months before a fight..maghimo pud cla ug strategy on how to win the fight, so if you look at it, boxing is not just brawling but a very technical kind of sports..and also , gladiators don't have coaches, cutmen, strategies, weight limits, gloves, mouth piece so di jud xa comparable to boxing..

I feel strongly against boxing coz my great grandfather was a boxer. he had parkinson-like symptoms in old age. And seeing a Gorres from a near-fatal boxing match--enough! Buwagin! Istapin!

While a noble campaign to ban the sport , You have to remember both your great grandfather and Mr Gorres knew the risk, like most sport out there. Its unfortunate but you live by the decisions you make.
Still don't see people supporting it though...
