I'm afraid you can't change the aperture and shutter settings in your camera. I think it's fixed.

composition is your key. learn how to compose or place your subject well to draw the eye towards the point of interest. Kung dili maayo ang placement sa mga butang within the frame, dili pleasing sa mata ang photograph regarless of the camera you are using. Photography is subtractive, you have to remove everything unwanted to be inside of your frame or photo. Only include those that are essential for the final output.

The rule of thirds will be your guide to start better composition. You have to train your eye to see what you want to see on your photos. Use your camera to frame what you wanted to be included, walk around to get a better view.

so right in the bag bro basically, i simply capture pics for documentation basing from the line of work i'm in and as i got the hang of taking pics and looked at them, it dawned on me that i really wanted to do more out of these pics. What got me more excited was the pics I've been following in the photo section, I wanna have those kind of compositions too. thanks for ur inputs bro.. i'll bear that in mind

i had to google PNS since i have no idea what that means hehehe... yeah i totally agree with u, it's perfect for daylight but i had some probs when it comes to night parties coz i always have so-so pics out of my cam, that's why i'm starting to learn more on how to get good pics being that i'm such a photoholic whether in the office or with my group. thx bro

i totally agree with u, i won't forget the ultimate goal in having a cam is to capture life's great moments... not that i'm joining the bandwagon for anything just because i am eyeing on having a newer cam.. i simply love taking pics, as i've mentioned previously. I work with kids and there's a lot of moments I wanna take advantage of and put it in paper (scrapbook) so if i capture those moments, wud be swell... bonus na lang na maau pagka-kuha jud.

posting this thread was mainly for myself "thinking out of the box" and not have myself limit to what i have now... *smileys*

    thnx bro for ur inputs
