To be more specific about intelligence. It means intelligence at par with humans right now.
lols that is why this evolution theory, is ballooney! for hundred million years, dinosaurs remain a dinosaurs and thats a lot of YEARS. Yet when they speculate about a mammals going to water / whale becoming horse... it only happen tens of million years.

In evolution speculation, time doesn't matter coz it happen. The catch, it all happen million of years.

when you become mature, you will realize its a fairy tale.

a very gud example of the Evidence that does not support the claim.

Since we are human beings, we naturally tend to measure things by human standards, thus we tend to define "dumbness" from a human standpoint. So if a creature cannot develop the steam engine, or develop quantum mechanics, we call it dumb, when in fact, perhaps from a different perspective altogether, "dumbness" or "brightness" may just be criteria if a creature were to survive or perish i.e. if it had difficulty in surviving/reproducing, it was a dumb creature, and if it was doing quite well in survival, then we consider it to be more intelligent than the other creature.

one way of looking things is this: for hundred million of years, did evolution stop? and yea its a heck plenty of time. With the given time, evolution is out of the question.

barney is an exemption. I heard him talk and laugh and even dance...

Yeah, right. As if humans can migrate now to another planet or as if we have capable missiles to destroy a planet-buster sized asteroid.

So, are we dumb by your own definition?

The human race is 5 million years old according to e.t., so imagine what the humans would be like 100 million years from now? We might be teleporting to Pandora instead of riding spaceships or have the weapons technology to pulverize planet size objects, of course, that includes asteriods.

I think this subject really runs deep and indirectly attacks evolution theory. Anyway, the assumption here is that evolution theory is valid without question, we only need to hypothesize what could be the situation in the dinosaurs time that given a very long time, they were not able to develop intellectually. So I guess this really involves a lot of critical and out of the box way of thinking and I supposed this is what science fans like.

The answer is definitely there. This is how evolutionist answer the question. Its stands together with FAITH.

From what i think , mamals are smarter than the dinosaur . . and i think bacteria live longer than the dinosaur ...

i think its because of the environment.... sayon ra ang environment nila ...

but for mamals to thrive lisod sad jud ,.,. earth need to stand pa after the asteroid disaster ..
there were less plant life .. lisod sad ang competition .

so ang early mamals jud ang mas intelligent ang mosurvive ...

    until apes came....

this is a tricky question to answer since there are many factors to consider. different animals adapt to different stimuli. the evolutionary process varies in each specific population. a change in one particular population (humans) will be different from the change experienced by another population (dinosaurs). as millions of years go by, they follow a specific evolutionary path that leads to what is now (humans) and what they've become (dinosaurs). how is this question different from asking, "Why do plants not have a central nervous system"?

    Chad you are a creationist.

the evolutionary process varies in each specific population
--- of course, limitation of evolution. A frog cannot turn into prince a million years later.

a change in one particular population (humans) will be different from the change experienced by another population
--- humans created telephone, radio frequencies, cellphone... this are good example of creation... created by man.
--- chad 600mya to 65mya everything is about dinosaur. What happen to evolution period? thats a lot of time for evolution chad.

as millions of years go by, they follow a specific evolutionary path that leads to what is now
--- bacteria according to evolution does not agree to what you are telling now chad. They are single celled and now becomes dinosaur. SPECIFIC PATH BA?

Why do plants not have a central nervous system
--- very good question. Well they have the same ancestor with dinosaur chad... dont you think? I am also confused on this thingy...

    anyone can alight?

doesn't EQ stand for Encephalization Quotient, not Emotional Quotient?

EQ or Encephalization Quotient is used to measure the size of a creature's brain in proportion to its body size.

^interesting, does it follow that the higher the EQ the greater the intelligence?
