Er, I hope the thread starter doesn't get my meaning incorrectly. The title says "New pix of my new 35mm lens" althought the correct preposition used should be "from" but that's irrelevant. My friend Michael Manabat, a wedding photographer, has a 35mm 1.8 too and until now he hasn't uploaded photos taken from said lens yet so I'd really like to see unedited photos to see how good it is against Canon's old-tech 35mm f2.
If possible, the true test of prime lenses is to see their IQs wide open. So I hope the thread starter could post photos taken at f/1.8.
Wala naman motubag ang TS basin nasaag lang to dire da ... hehe
Ako nalang post sa sample pix sa 35mm prime shoot at wide open (f1.at low lights para naay idea ang gusto mopalit.

question, so mas nindot diay ang 35mm 1:1.8G kaysa sa 50mm 1:1.8D?
If you're using a crop Nikon like the D90 35 = 52.4mm or nearly equivalent to a normal lens (50mm), the 50mm = 75mm (10mm short of the classical 85mm portrait lens). Nikon users are lucky because you have the 35mm 1.8 while us poor Canon blokes have to choose the old-tech 35 f/2 versus the expensive 35 f/1.4 L. Makalagot Canon usahay.
i was about to mention your name in this thread bro, hehehe when i read the subject i thought it was you who started the thread with your ever trusted 35mm
perhaps you could post more pics taken using your 35mm bro, para naay idea ang uban how great this lens was, thanks diay sa advice about this lens my friend was very happy with it.
