Anyway, here are the advantages and disadvantages of the PS3:

Advantages:

Most powerful Hardware there is on the current generation of consoles. Evidenced by superb graphics when used to its potential i.e., Uncharted, Killzone, MGS4, LBP.

Cheapest and best Blu-ray player on the market.

Disadvantages:

Currently harder to program for games but expected to get easier once learning curve hits its peak. Almost all multi-platform games the PS3 gets screwed in the graphics department.

Online features is still second best to XBOXlive but that's what you get for getting it for free, right?

Well said... Also, not to mention the upcoming PS3-exclusive games in 2010. Personally, can't wait for FFXIII. I won't mind the 14th installment coz i'm not a fan of MMORPGs.

for me ang iyang feature na blu-ray disc player sa ps3 kay kung mobuy ka ug blu-ray player gyud alone mahal kau..ang first reason gud pod nko pagbuy ani ps3 nko kay ang player man gyud..then nxt being a gaming console..

Only disadvantage I can think of is that here in the Phils., Blu-ray movies are limited in titles + more expensive.

Also, I guess if you are a cheapo/criminal, then you will find 360 more appealing. lol

pangit ang ps3 kay mahal og mahal ang games....... pangit pud ang xbox kay naay overheating issues..... maypag mag family computer lingaw pa..... ^_^

sa akong mga na basahan, when it comes to 720p resolution, pildi jud daw ang PS3 sa Xbox360. Pero kung full HD na(1080p) mas maayo jud ang PS3. weird. in paper, mas maayo man jud unta ang ps3 compared sa xbox360, reliable pajud as long as imu i.pawng every 4hours or kung aircon imu room.
