@TS:Both of them are good and worth of the price. But I like the new Asus M4A785-M w/c has more expansions like 4 dimm slots and the design is awesome w/ blue heatsinks etc... compare to Asus M4A78-VM.

The decision is yours since its ASUS you have peace of mind.

bought my asus commando may 2007. Overclocked to the max (made me won performance category in DCE07,DCE08 talo ko pa x48,x38 series that time) Overclocked a q6600 in it 4050mhz (at that time the q66 was the best cpu) its still alive and kicking ngayon and still can be a midrange system.

Now i got an Asus Rampage 2 Extreme (due to its predecessors performance)

now my LiquidKandalf (asus commando) is in the process of being a Windows Home Server


still waiting for my 4port sata controller and 4-6 months add another 8port controller.

So get the best mobo you can buy.
