this is a good opportunity to help make sure everything goes smoothly maybe not for the whole country but at least in your neck of the woods.

the key to remember is that you must be a resident of the municipalities mentioned.

btw, i'm not in any way connected/affiliated with the company posting that ad.

let me explain in different perspective...

PCOS machine is basicly using an OCR technology that has AI to determined what you shade, the sourcecode they say is basicly the AI of the OCR, to anyone who worked in innodata especially in lawbook, we use OCR technology to convert image into text character, in this case detects shades, PCOS may not be tested but the technology it uses had been used since 1929... OCR is already been tested by many applications... about PCOS not accepting the ballot well sakto jud ang sulti you are not following instruction... it's time we need something to disciple our selves....

anyone can create a pcos machine just using a regular scanner and some VB know-how on OCR...

I know, even my scanner has an OCR capability out of the box, but Smartmatic-TIM's hardware and software wasnt tested by the company properly, it is us the end user who found the problems.

about the ballots that werent shaded properly. if it happens comelect's SOP on the matter is to let the person vote again and this is a very time consuming fix. let me explain further. if the shade in my vote for president wasnt done properly but all others were correct the machine rejects it. thats a very serious design flaw, on what i know University of the Philippines' entrance exam uses OCR but if one item has problem it skips that item and goes on with the others.

    MAKING CONSPIRACY THEORIES:

if you allow me, i would ask all of you, if this election fails, who would sit as president?
Chief Justice Puno is retiring. So if the election fails, there would be no president, vice president, senate house leader, senate members, speaker of the house, congressmen, and chief justice.

usually if theres a failure of election the chief justice sits as acting president, in our situation we dont have anyone who is legally fit to sit as acting President.

proper testing of software and hardware is that you should test it in all possible scenarios. look at what happened in the mock elections alot of problems appear, if it was tested in all possible scenarios, we should have only minimal or no problems at all, we should only see problems in the actual elections itself(cause the real election is to much to simulate).

who are programmers here, if you sell a program to a costumer its basic that you make sure that your costumer gets what he wants, finds your program convenient, and would not find problems in your program. Cause if he does find problems the client will think of you as just a newbie.

now what does that say about SMARTMATIC?

It rejected 4 out of 10 ballots(no fix cause OS already inspected by a consultant, no time to modify the OS and recheck)

Failed to send data even in a highly urbanised area like pateros.. (I think they still havent fix it yet, but i cant confirm)
(defecive sim cards? you've got to be kidding me, 3 defective sim cards in one test, wow what a coincidence)

But theres more i just cant confirm all of them, so i cant post all of them.

heres an article of the first test.

going back to my argument about how smartmatic tested them in their office or factory whatever its called...
It rejected 4 of 10 ballots, how could anyone not notice it, if they tested it there.
