ako, di ko moingon nga worst petshop.. di ko mocomment gyd ana coz di bya tanan petshop diri cebu ako nang naad2an. but so far, para nako, naka uyon gyd ko sa riverfront colon.. coz halos tanan tao naa did2, kaila na man gud nako. gihimo gud na nakong tambayanan. bsan wa koy paliton, mo ad2 ko, malingaw ko. ^^

Hmmm.. since you guys are already talking about it, Yah, Piper's Petshop was the culprit. I found some materials being sold in other petshops which has half the price compared to Piper's Petshop. Piper's petshop is fond of taking advantage to new customers. I spent around 4000 at Piper's. If I had the chance to explore other petshops, It could have been around 1,700 - 1,900.

yup i strongly agree na grabeh kamahal ang pipers petshop compared to other petshops...sa inverts dli kaau kay neophite paman sila but if sila na ang sole distributor dri w/o sellers like firestarter, Azland and JODECS ambot lang kaha ug barato pa kaha ni sila....

naa sad ko ika-add aside from RFC, naa baligya fishes and plants si Jun atbang sa robinson.. though quality wise, pareho ra siya sa magallanes, pero naa siya mga not too common plants didto like java fern 'windelov', and echinodorus 'red flame'.. at a much much lower price compared to the "petshop" you guys were talking about.. maayo nalang gani wala dayon ko nikagat sa ilaha pag-adto nako.. (think: 450 vs 75)..

yup...agree ko ani beter buy plants and fishes from hobbyist than buying from pipers pet shop grabeh kamahal... RCS lang shrimplets 35 php but karn ihatag naman lang na.

Can't help but notice this thread. I'm in no way connected to Piper's, but to knock them for being too "expensive" for your pockets sounds a little asinine. I've bought some exotics, fish, and dog food from the shop, and so far, their prices are fair. Service wise, they've been very helpful as well.

My point is, if a pet shop is too expensive for your taste, get out and go somewhere else. Going by your logic, that joint at SM must be horrible then (they are pretty bad btw when it comes to customer service.) Maybe Piper's is trying to compensate for the rent or God knows what. Really, all this fuss and belittling of others just because you or someone you know overspent.

If that isn't satisfying enough, then allow me to get some cheese for your whine.

ayaw na bro...dont compare pipers with mascot pets coz sosyal to (SM bya to!) didto unsa ra gud na ang pipers naa raman na sa side walk sa talamban...tsk3x...peace just a statement no offense..

for grooming, i suggest sa pike's pet supply sa lawaan talisay, if naa ka sa south dapit. buotan pa jud ang owner.
