    pissed off?
i dunno why we always ask why atheists doesn't believe in what the theists believes in... i think if they don't believe in God, then they also don't have to be pissed off by him...why would any one be pissed off of something he doesn't even believe in? isn't that stupid?otherwise he's still a believer who would still like to put the blame on God for not giving him what he wanted....
maybe what's more appropriate question is, why do some atheists love to piss off theists?

.. i dont know why some people here still defend "god" when it's very clear that IF there is a God then he really doesnt care about humans or his creations in general.

    .. ok, here's one example ..

.. when i took the board exam, we have one classmate who is very religious and during our review, she always goes to church and prays and do novenas and reads her notes seriously. But, she failed the exam. WHY Why is that so Why didn't God answered her prayers

.. and here I am, a freaking atheist, i broke every myth during the exam, I never went to church nor ask God for guidance, of course, coz I dont believe in god and I barely studied. But I passed the stupid board exam.

    ... why is that ??
this is not cruelty, maybe the exam was too hard, maybe the pressure clouded her/his mind, a lot of factors are to be considered.

but you left out something, what about those who prayed and made the passing mark? I heard a lot of stories of them.

and when i said I don't agree on the "cruel" part it was in connection to your statement that states "God watches his creation suffer". In the bible God faithfully and have actively provided the needs of his people. Yes, he allows trials and it is his way of strengthening his people. I can give you a list of people in the bible whose lives are proof of God's loving care.

and on the issue " god moves in mysterious way" as a scapegoat. maybe some used it that way but for the most part it is true.

mysterious, means things that are unknown, mystery. In the bible, sometimes, God operates in ways that are unknown to us and therefore mysterious.

.. ok, if we'll follow that analogy. then your god is discriminating. How can you say that those people WHO PRAYED AND YET FAILED, not deserving of a passing mark ??

.. and if you say that IT MAYBE TOO HARD. Then it's not due to God afterall, it's only due to man's persistence and sacrifice, then the factor of God is absolutely zero.

what do you call a person who doesn't believe in any religion? pero still believes there is a god? i've been like this since pag college nako , when i read a statement by Einstein sa magazine, he said, " i'd rather have faith in god, than belief in a wrong religion," or something to that effect hehehe... didto ko nka realize, nga para nako, sakto sya. kapoy naman gud kaau, sobra ka daghan ug mga religion karon

I think I have answered that part: the exam was too hard, the pressure clouded his/her mind. Then I also pointed out to you those people who prayed and made it through the exam victoriously.

not necessarily...because there were also cases where human strength have failed. God moves in times of failure and victory, either way God is teaching you a lesson.

got to eat my breakfast, be back soon.

    let me add more...

Yes God is discriminating but in a wiser way. You cannot achieve your finest goals w/o it. However in this context it's different, this is not an issue of discrimination, the culprit is human imperfection.

there are different laws governing the universe namely: Spiritual laws and Physical laws. On the level of the ordinary/common/physical reality there are 2 machines that operates for life to work. They are God's Sovereignty and Human Responsibility. That's the reason why we have our parents, schools, churches, challenges, failures, victories to teach us the fundamental laws of Human Responsibility and God's sovereignty.

hahaha... do you even know what that means? you can't even spot the "redundancy" in his argument. never mind...I don't know but your proclamation seem to fail...but anyway you are entitled to your own opinion..so I'll just let you be...cheer more...

but a little pointer here for you to read...

he said God is a failure (Zero God factor) because the religious person prayed hard and yet failed in the exam BUT he left out something, what about the guys who prayed and made the passing mark?

you see kit_cebu you must resolved this conflicting realities before coming up with a conclusion or else your argument ends up under the category of being ridiculed for giving uneducated points.

anyways as ive said...I respect your opinion...if that's how you see it then so be it. Hey don't you know that most of the relatives of those people needing blood donations are praying for donors? and they would even say pasalamat to God for answering their prayers.
