How long do you want to be courted?

In my humble POV, 6 months to a year would be enough to get to know the person deeper, determine the amount of sincerity and all that. Its also my way of giving the guy a chance to back out at anytime before the first 6 months or a year, basin na ilad ra siya sa iyang mata physically attracted ra siya...

i don't want a long courtship jud.. if you both feel it, why prolong? i think it's pointless kay the guy would always want to be at his best kung ng-court pa.. what the girl sees during courtship is not the whole person, only a part of him, the best part of him..

i remember courting someone for three years then another person came and i got my "yes" on the same day i proposed and now she's my lovely wife and we've been together for 12 years. i guess "sincerity" here is not a factor since i was sincere when i propose to both ladies.but when i asked my wife why ni sugot siya right away, she answered that she had a BIG crush on me that's why she didn't wasted her time on "palugit" and what i like most is her 2nd reason kay if she doesn't say yes immediately, she might loose me to somebody else.

she also said that what is the use of holding back 2 days, three days, a week, couple of weeks, a month or even years if either sugton ba or dili.kung sugot then ok kung dili so tell the BITTER and PAINFUL truth.

btaw suya sad ko ani......it take a life time to know a person jud...
