Need Suggestion: Build Another or Just Upgrade?

Mangayo unta ko ninyo ug suggestion or idea.

mao ni akong current PC karon:

AMD X2 64 5000+
4G DDR2 800
ATI HD4870 1G
500G SATA (hardisk)
Gigabyte Mobo

Want: Gusto ko mo-upgrade ug Processor kay murag battle neck ang akong Processor ug Video card.

I'm planning to upgrade AMD Phenom X4 945 kay mao raman maabot sa akong mobo (maximum upgrade coz of the socket sa AM2+).

Question: Worth kaha ni ang AMD Phenom X4 945? or mas nice gyud ang Intel for my ATI HD4870 1G?

bro mura depende sa imu budget..... kay if worth it na mag upgrade lang ka nya reasonable ang price then go for it pero if it costs like a new system then but a new 1 nalang sell your old parts then buy a new 1 am2+ is nearing an end....+ daghan pka ma salvage sir n parts esp... your cool na 4870 good for gaming pa ni.....

specs looks good. in my opinion, going from x2 to x4 is worth it as an upgrade. kung ako lang needs basehan ha (Dota, HoN, GTAIV, Team Fortress, etc.), sobra pa ni's payts ang specs nimo.

Bro, murag dili man gud ko satisfied sa NBA 2K10 PC game... gusto unta ko pareha ug or duol2x lang utna sa ps3 or xbox360 graphics...

mao lagi bro, murag mao pud ni akong kabalak-an ba. mo-upgrade ko ug AMD X4 945 basin mag-mahay lang ko ba... about sa budget murag OK lang gasto ko mga 10-15k

A processor upgrade will do ( phenom II X4 ). Make sure lang na gi-support sa imo mobo whatever processor you'll be getting. About sa Nba 2k10? Ngano diay? Hinay iya performance?

maybe u need a HD monitor para ma pareha sa NBA2k10 sa PS3 (HD mode).

4870 is a killer card until now. Nba2k10 works well at Max setting.

yes bro mao ni maximum nga Processor niya masupport sa akong mobo...

laging ang nba... hinay ug frame rate...

murag akong tanaw bro nag-bottle neck lang akong processor ug video card...

i only get around 30fps pero not all the time...

For me ok ra imong specs almost the same sa akong specs before when using AM2 with Athlon 4800+ X2. Upgrade lang ug Phenom if gusto jud ka coz it has 4 cores so the better.
