    Cattle farming bro, kana giingon nila nga baka ipaod lamawan ug tahop , bagaso, ug kumpay. Dili man problima ang pagkaon kay kon walay kumpay ako sila pakan-on ug tahop ,scramble or bagaso.

    so lets start asking questions...

    unsa nga tanom nga medyo dako ug presyo, dili kawatunon ug, dili kaayo atakihon ug peste?

    i ask myself that ug i came up with two answers...

    1.. jalapeno or sili
    2. atsal

    marketability?

    sili..gamay ra ayo..
    atsal medyo dako...labi na sa mindanao...i use to supply century tuna...hehehehe

    so nag atsal ko

    at 1000 sqm you can have 800- 1000 plants... they will give you 1-2 kilos per plant...
    apply min-max rule (maximum cost minimum revenue)
    1 kilo per plant at 800... 800 kilos...
    currently atsal is at 70 per kilo retail... half that would be your selling price...
    so 800 x 35= 28000

    how much would it cost you

    seeds = 500
    fertilizer 1500
    plowng 1000
    irrigation = 500
    labor 5000
    misc 1000
    total 8000

    profits
    28000-8000= 20000 in 4-6 months

    kun gusto ka dako i multiply lang sya ug number of 1000 sqm parcels

    also research drip irrigation ang polybagging technology...you can save labor and herbicides
    hindi kaya minimum cost , maximize revenue?

    Bro, you want to start farming? or you are started already? what system you are followed? I mean organically produced or inorganically done? I may suggest you to the follow standards which you think you can control/manage/, will infact we are producing organically grown products and we are planting different types of veggies, herbs, fruits and others. Now, you decide where you want to go, right (organic), left (inorganic)................. enjoy farming...............

    Agree.. nowadays the weather is unpredictable. init, nya mu kalit ra ug uwan. U need to research on ideas on how u can control a constant temperature so that u can grow produce well. there are MANY systems where u can do this.

    If u really want to go into planting, u should call restaurants and talk to their purchasing officers to see what kind of veggies and the quantity they buy. If u tally up all these information from different restaurants, then u can point out which produce is in demand.

    Explore the market usa, and figure out what veggie is in high demand now. If u figure that out, then u can try and see if u can use ur land area to grow it in bulk.

    Happy farming
