i have to disagree, the best test for pregnancy is thru blood/serum.

i was told lagi by both the medtech extracting my blood and my OB nga same ra ug sensitivity.. kay ni level-up naman daw ang preg test kits nowadays.. mas convenient pa gani ang urine kay dli bya kwaan ug blood ang girl..

pa pregnancy test. if negative.. pa urine test..

It's not the same ang sensitivity. Ang lowerlimit sa urine detection is 25 mIU/mL then ang serum kay 10 mIU/mL ,that is expected to be the range sa best kits for QUALITATIVE TESTING. Quantitative Testing sensitivity is 1 mIU/m serum specimen.

Yes. They need to be updated about quality controls and they need to read the kit manual.

HCG is the hormone na mu increase if buntis ka. It can be found on BOTH serum and urine. Mao na cya ang e detect sa test sa imu pregnancy kit for urine or serum(so yw e confuse ang hcg test ug pregnancy test, kay the same thing ra na cla) . If negative ka sa urine pregnancy test then proceed testing ug serum pregnancy testing if ga duda jd ka and remember this is QUALITATIVE testing meaning it just says if mabdos ka or dli. Then if Mabdos ka e Quantitative testing naka which determines the exact level of HCG hormones in your body para ma determine on which trimester you are in. Also, some cancers can increase HCG level which will give a FALSE positive preg test. So in short mao kani ang porma in terms of SENSITIVITY.

Serum quantitative testing > SERUM qualitative > Urine quantitative

So hopefully d na mu malibug or libugon pa ninyo.

sis, its a blessing bya! naa gai uban diha ganahan na maka anak pero wa pajud naabot...you should be thankful for the gift of Life!

mao jud... ingon ana bya jud na ang gnhan maka anak, dili jud mka anak ai... sa ako case kay super duper abnormal ako mens. karon gani hapit nako 1 month naa. last nako before sinulog... kung mag do gani mi wala mi gamiton kay ug ma preggy, madawat man japun namu kay of legal age naman sad mi...nya gnhan nsad mi ba.. bsta ug naa gud, dwaton. ang nka pait kay wala gyud... nag pt man gani ko namasin ko kato pag pasko na preggy pero wala gyud.. hinoon irregular man sad gud ko.. lisod kau mka anak ingon ani... nya dghan mn sad factors na ingon ani ko.. naa gani layagon ko hapit 3 months wa ko last yr... nalisang gud ko... karon mo take nko iron once a week... blessing jud ng mga baby... suya kau ko sa ako manghud kay nana cya baby... very very healthy jud... ug dili pamo ready better use contraceptives.. ug d mada ug abstinence... hehehe
