Sup peeps. I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried the new game Aliens Vs Predator and if anyone has got the multiplayer to work properly?

I was really hyped for this game. Unfortunately the reviews have just come out and the consensus seems to be that it's clunky and flawed. Hopefully Aliens: Colonial Marines will get it right (if and when it gets released).

Ill buy it. According to reviews and forums, its ok for the hardcore AVP fans. Some even say the score is low cuz they expected a groundbreaking/changing FPS. But its a fan-service, in which I am.

I tried the demo, hard to find a match but when I did, its fun. Awaiting arrival here.

Well for me I seem to really like the game very much. I am using it on a quadcore 2.6 ghz system with 8gb RAM and ATi Radeon HD4870x2 2GB at maximum resolution and settings. To me it really is an awesome game with very good detailed graphics. I just wished there was some way I could play this online. I have googled already but there are no perfect or good solutions at the moment. Some of the solutions require to have STEAM installed. I don't want STEAM.

I enjoyed AVP2, the original Alien and Predator movies(AVP movies not so much), this game is a must buy. What saddens me is the campaigns too short they say. Playing as a marine is great! Really scary!

Of course, I always side with the xenomorph(Aliens).

I definately agree. The stories are short. The Marines stories are definately my favorites and also keeps you at the edge of your seat. Try it on nightmare level bro. The Predator stories are kinda tricky. Its kinda more challenging, but not as interesting as the Marines. Hopefully there will be updates or downloadable contents to add more to their story or a new chapter. I already beaten the game with the Marines and Predator. I just haven't tried Xenomorphs story yet. Still kinda busy at the moment again with Mass Effect 2.

I will definately agree that this game is a must for AVP fanatics. I just hope that someone can finally make a perfect crack to play this game on-line. I heard that it is definately 1 of the best features of the game. Also good in Co-Op.

Well the retail game also installs steam so whats the issue ?

Also I find the video options a lack of fine tuning selections. There are some stuff I want to turn down to get 60fps everywhere.

Thats the thing. I don't have retail. I have Razor1911 release.

About the options, I somewhat agree. But that also depends on your video card. What are you using?
