Guys please help me with my latest prob. My mobo suddenly won't detect any USB device plugged into it. It was working fine for the last 2 years. Device manager reports device is working properly. Is it possible that one of ports is actually grounded? Does this mean bye bye to my usb devices?

yep i have even freshly reinstalled my OS and still nothing happens
. But what I noticed before was that the leakage current is not that strong compared to what I've felt now......what bugs me is that granting one of the ports is shorted, then the whole thing cannot proceed with the initialization...or that's what I believe will happen.

How about the OS bro? Are you using WindowsXP with Service Pack 2? And by the way what device does not detect?

Unsay brand sa imong motherboard horse? if its MSI/ASus/Epox usually naa na silay USB bracket try using that as it is a separate host controller compared sa external I/O

@ teffer boss try to check sa connection nimo sa usb sa sulod basin na lose contact lang na!!!! ako naka encounter ko ana na prob before dali mo detect ang usb ako raman gi change ang os!!then na ok na!!! pero sa imo i mo naman na changed ang os!!!make sure na dili to crrputed os nimo ok!!!check ang connection and make sure na ok paba ang supply sa usb!!kay daghan naba ang imo gamit na supply basin dilina maka daog psu nimo!!!! ok!! sana maka tulong!!!!!
