I don't think so. May God rest his soul. GMA is really the lesser evil then that's why Cebu voted for her.

I'm not really sure if it's fair to say that the right term for PGMA is "lesser evil"...


In my opinion, many Cebuanos voted for GMA mainly due to her perceived competence over FPJ. There was the big stigma over FPJ being an actor / artista which turned off many Cebuanos.


Some will say nga incompetent si FPJ... that's why they didnt vote for him... pero behind the limelight of show biz, do we really/honestly know who FPJ is?

my take on this:
(1) a good, honest and sincere president is not what this country needs. our country's social, political and economic problems are too complicated to be solved by a president with these traits only.
(2) the country, and the whole world for that matter, was in a deep economic sh** when GMA took the presidency, good thing that she was an economist and was well versed with economic policies that she was able to keep the country afloat during those difficult times.

im not a GMA fan, i greatly despise her cheating and scamming ways, but i'd have to give her credit with how she managed to run our economy during the entire world's most trying economic times.
