    Miss, yoou can actually set avast for a boot-up scan.. Dako ang tabang ani, kay by this time, wala pa na load ang main chunk sa OS, pwede mu e set pud kung asa lang na partition or drive mu kanahan e scan... try

    ah.. i tried running combofix last nyt but I cudnt do the scanning part..dnt know why...

    you might want to run a diagnostic tool to determine if the problem is logical or hardware related. most hard drive manufactures have their diagnostic tool - seagate has seatools that is freely available on their website.

    Drive C is also infected siguro, much better buhaton, remove your HDD and slave to other PC where naay UPDATED antivirus then do a full scan.

    Useless man sige ug remove infected files sa Drive then while Drive C is infected mo labang labang dyud na.

    Im using AVIRA AntiVir.
