this has been asked a lot of times already but i'll explain again for you. video memory is used as a frame buffer. as soon as the GPU is done rendering a frame, the result is moved towards the video memory before mugawas sa imong monitor. basically, kung dako imong monitor (32"), you need a bigger video memory para daghan ma store na frames. usual symptoms kung kulang ka sa video memory is nagduwa ka ug 3D game then mo alt+tab ka, if it takes very long for the desktop to appear, nagkulang ka sa video memory.

in your case, 1GB is simply too much for your measly 15 inches monitor. it would be a lot better if you go with a higher tiered video card with 512MB than 1GB for somewhat a lower performing card. someone posted an analogy of how this works, see image below:

    512mb = smaller container
256bit = bigger hole for the bottle

think of the water as the data, and the hole as the BITs.

bigger container can hold more data so that leaves your computer to do other task.
after filling it with water, it can now multitask and do other work. but still there's a limit of how fast the bottle can be emptied.

but you dont really need all the containers, you need efficiency, when we play games, we usually close all running applications, the antivirus, all the programs not needed. usually dont need 1gig of data.
when we need water, we want it fast. so Getorade can give that to you as fast as it could.

    Claro ba explanation?

Given with your budget cut and choice of 9500 GT I suggest go for a motherboard with integrated graphics and the AMD's 785 chipset is your best bet since it can keep up with the 9500 GT or might be faster in some case. This way you don't need to buy a discreet video card and a branded PSU because 500w power supply that's included in the casing will do the job then you can use that savings to buy other components. Even the lowly generic PSU can handle a GeForce 9500 GT.I wil not recommend that you do this but my 9600 GT that I feed to a generic 500W PSU is still doing it's job for a year now. Anyway, here is what I will suggest you get and you can omit the optical and the display if you already got one:

    1. Motherboard :
    MSI 785gtm-e45 = Php 3,650.00
    2.Processor:
    Athlon II X2 245 2.9 GHZ = Php 3,300.00
    3.Memory:
    Patriot Signature
    DDr2 800 mhz 2X1GB = Php 2,670.00
    4.Hard Disk:
    Seagate 320Gb SATA = PHP 2,250.00
    5.Casing:
    Blade Series 500W PSU = Php 1,200.00
    6.Optical Drive:
    Samsung 22X Sata = Php 1,150.00

    7.Display:
    16" LG W1642S 1366x768 = PHP 4,850.00
