I really don't know why its called the dark side but I found what ken rockwell said about it really interesting. apparently, back in the 80's nikon was the preferred choice for pros because of lens compatibility. Canon had just introduced their EOS line and old lenses cannot be used anymore. Originally Posted by Chipmunk888
