sakto jud ni na point. daghan baya pod to ang product sa nurse grads sa una bisan schools pa wid der old nursing dept system. but not as ani ka daghan for the past 12 yrs.? quality is compromised wid quantity!
Pinangga pa na ky first 2yrs pa man and mura ug semi screening pa na for Capping. speaking if favored sa mga CIs ky di pa kaau daw sungayan ang mga studs. but this fact does not hold thru anymore, since i personally observed during my time na nag CI ko 2002 ...na bisan 1st yrs labi na 2nd coursers ky dagko na kaau ug ego.
Sa 3rd year magsugod ug grabe nga tinaktakay ky mao man kinalisuran na level when most of the major clinical subjects are present along with the RLEs. time mgt and stress ang kalaban nimo ani ba.
however, nilu-ag na gihapon mo when d curriculum was change to AHSE. mao na ni product sa changes na wa matarung ug assess ang possible damage.
Naghimu-himu ang Dept. of Education ug program change for nursing diha sa ato-a hoping na mura ug USA kintahay na naa sila associate degree like their LPN pero ma nurse assistant lng ka. but they did not think about it na wa man na gi practice ang CNA's ato culture. maybe they were thinking na mo kagat ang uban countries ani na training pod pra maka abroad daun sa ani na skill.
wa nila huna2x-a na ang taga lain nasod ky wa nila gihimo na degree ang pagka CNA ky training and certificate ra na sa ila. daghan silang tao dri nangag-vocational ra. do u think musugot ang ila immigration na hasta ubos nila na trabaho kita ang mobuhat? suko naman gali ila nationals ngano mag hire sila ug overseas nurses?
Mao ni wa pinsara sa mga Education Officials nato diha...ang pinaka old na training system gi retain unta to ug gi-upgrade lang based sa practice sa world karon pra di ta biya unta and NOT totally change the whole curriculum. tan-awa unsa na ron ang quality? plus ang uban countries naka realize na unsa kabati ang produce since pag increase sa graduates? now, wud they like to hire us pa ba? this is the question na tubagunon pa in the future....![]()
hala wuiI've read the links.. this is so sad... gone are the days when the world looks upon Filipino nurses as the best in the world... tsk..tsk.. but you know, even more sad is the reality that what was posted there is partially true.. With the surplus of nursing aspirants now, the quality is indeed getting low... There are even nursing schools sprouting everywhere, some not yet fully accredited...
mao na...bisan ako i hate to admit it BUT surely there is some truth to it! I just hope the Phil. Dept. of Education Officials will know about this and will do a resolution to the problem at soonest possible time to get the nursing QUALITY back before it get way too late.
d lang sa unfair...mo balik ra gihapon ang effect ani sa students. at first lipay ky saun ra but long term effect is LOW QUALITY training! ari ko mahadlok sa latter issue...
sakto jud mam...honestly, bisag kakuha q ug dako na rating skill-wise, wala q.. i mean feeling nako, daghan ang kuwang sa gitudlo namo...az in..
i even heard nay usa ka.nurse niadto sa Ireland, niya gisugo xa pag.catheter sa px, niya wala xa kahibaw kay wala kuno sila tudlu-i atong nursing pa xa..gipauli intawn...
