i'm planning to buy a laptop... VAIO S - VPCS115FG

the cheapest price i've seen so far here in cebu is P65,699.00

now, i searched in the internet that the price in sony hong kong is HK$7980 or P47655.86.

i know someone who will be going to hk on feb 28 and will be back on the 2nd of March..

my questions are,
ok ra ba ang laptops in hk?
why is it much cheaper in hk?
naa pa kaha koy additional bayad or mao nato ang price sa website sa sony hong kong?

para nako - why is it much cheaper in US? compare lang pud HP laptops between US and Cebu.
times 2 ang price basta diri philippines.

ang problemahun lang nimo is how to repair your laptop and warranty.

and oh... shipping is 5k plus tax pa guro na.
and make sure ang keyboard is not chinese. ^_^

about the warranty, diba international warranty man na nh?

about international warranty, We've encountered that before.

You can claim International Warranty if alien ka sa imung gi-puy.an nga country.
Or adto ka sa service center sa lain nga country.
Let's say, adto ka og Singapore. You can claim your international warranty there. But not here sa Philippines..

Pero correct me if I'm wrong, coz that's what happened to us when we bought our laptops ACER from China..

dili man gihapon ka safe sa warranty sa pinas. why? because getting a replacement, repair or even simple honoring of warranty is cliff climbing!

I bought an asus laptop sa US with Global warranty. As of now wala pa man sad maguba nuon. ALso, I tried contacting support with made up issues just to check how fast they can resolve the issue, ok man.


@ts - with the issue why mahal sa pinas, tungod kay hassle kaayo pagpasulod ug product sa pinas. let's take ebay as an example, Philippines along with Brazil and Italy are a no-no to some ebay international sellers.
why?
1. mahal ang customs tax.
2. daku ug chance dili moabot ang product.
