i am aware of that, but 3 hours will give you more than enough time to really be at the check-in counter before it opens. k

ami gani 1.5 hours before the flight na bump off, so kanang 2 hours before the flight kuyaw-kuyaw pa na. hehe!!

This is the airline's fault and should have been explained properly to the affected passengers. Those bumped off should have been compensated.
i don't think they do that neither CAN they do that because if you have a ticket and passengers were at the check-in counter 45 minutes before the flight or more, they cannot just change the plane to a smaller one.

i think they open the counter to chance passengers much earlier than the required 45 minute check-in time.

you are right, only if the competitors had the same frequency of flights not necessarily budget fares. for businessmen, it is very convenient to always have a flight almost anytime during the day which cebu pacific offers.

moreover, they have a responsibility to the riding public and just can't use their low fare slogan as an alibi to bump off or leave passengers at their whim in order for them to make more profit.

share lang nako what happened to a lady friend in caticlan. She was late, the plane was full but cebupac accommodated her by letting her sit at the pilot's cockpit so she woukd not miss an appointment in manila.

I think the pilots would be more than happy to accommodate some girls in the cockpit. My guess is that their gay manager insisted to be given the same privilege so obviously the pilots said no way! Hehehe

it would be unfair to the people on board but hey, it was unfair to the people who were early and got bumped off too.

i would do this when I have the chance just for the heck of it.
Avoid Cebu Pacific na lang siguro. Their system is a mess. When there's a weather disturbance somewhere, magkayagaw gyud and they often refuse refunds even if their changed/alternative schedules they impose to the passengers are already way off from the original. Often heard of horror stories for those destinations that only have few scheduled flights per week.

Kani sad imong strategy, murag lisod na sa Cebu Pacific. In other countries, they are required by law to unload the baggage of anyone who checked in but did not get on that flight.

Don't let the promos and strong business news fool you into flying with Cebu Pacific.
