I am working in Maryland, USA as of the moment. ang employer na ni petition nako ky ni consider man. BUT that is out of the question now ky we are in wat dey call "great recession since their great depression era in the 1930s or 60s ba to"...ang 2005 immigrant processing ky wa pa man gani na tiwas ron!

which gives way to ur question to OZ and NZ...as long as u have a certificate of competence signed by an RN stating how u work with them will give a chance for u to apply for their registration council. another BUT, they have a different way with regards to their healthcare system so dont expect u will be registered or acquire a license right away. instead, they can always refer u to a university to get a course of what they call...Re-entry for RNs. that is just like a bridging course to how they practice in their country.

if u get lucky and they considered u as an RN right away from the time u applied then u can look for employers (facility or hospital) to petition u for work visa. after that, when u r there....u can have ur status change via inshore processing to skilled immigrant. all these u can read in the internet so u dont have to let an agency process for u which will just cost u more just to gather ur documents...

I am yearning man sad to go study in OZ as a re-entry nurse. My cousin introduce me to that thought because he was residing there in Kalgoorlie. We don't have to have an experience to get there, right?

He said that I'm gonna study and be trained for 6 months at my own expense and the government will find a job for you once your through.. Is that true? And what documents do I need to get ready?? (hehe.. sorry i have so many questions. i just passed the board exams and nurses in the Phils. were overflowing.. I want to try this stuff my cousin suggested but i just dont know where to start..)

Thanks sa additional information Vienzel, it really helped.

if u will read my previous post, i mentioned australia too. infact, La trobe university is offering only a 3mos IRON course for international nurses (total cost is 9800+ au dollars). afterwards u will be registered completely at Victoria which is in Melbourne, Australia i guess.

discover wat u really want and work on it. for the reqs u ask...it is all in the web. go to the nursing council of the state in australia u want and also to australian immigration web for student visa.

since 2003. i cant say didnt had my fair share of hardships while waiting ky naabtan man sad ko ug recession sa kang Pres. Clinton na regime. Wen i took my BSN ky ni hinay na pod to ang hiring...i waited like 4-5yrs ave.

it might not be the perfect life one wud expect but IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT man pod! mao na ako as a nurse graduate, di gyud ko mawagtangan ug pag asa ky cycle ra ni nahitabo ron sa kalibutan. naa gyud gihapon mo makita na work, it is just a matter of right timing.
