Maayo you're okay. That's why we should always be around when they put the tires and lug nuts back on or atleast check on them when you get your car back. It happened to me also before pero sa Cebu Plaza Hotel (at that time) dapit. I had just had one of my tires vulcanized. On the same day...Naghatod ko sa akong manghud and on the way down...I heard noises nga murag nay flat or something. Everytime muhunong ko to look...nothing was wrong (obviously kay di man makita ang mga lug nuts nga lose diay). May nalang I made it to a car shop nearby. Pagtanaw namo balik, 3 nalang bilin instead of 5. The mechanic said I was lucky that I didn't get into an accident on the way down the hill. From then on, mutanaw na gyud ko sa ilang gibuhat sa car and I ask questions just to let them know that I have my eyes on them and that I expect them to do it right. Hehe mas maconscious pa gyud nuon mga mechanic kay babae man ko.
It's good to know that you kept the name of the shop confidential. It's the mechanic that is at fault and sometimes even when tudluan...naa gyud di kabalo. Can't really put all the blame on the shop owner...although he/she should teach their employees to do the job right...because it's their name that's on the line, not the mechanic.
