Smartbro/Globe Tattoo users: need your expert advice on this matter

Hello mga bros and sis! I hope this piece of information will help.

I have been using Globe Tattoo. Ma-o ni ang advantages niya over Smart Bro.

1. Charge/Rate - 5 pesos for 15 minutes. You might say it's the same with Smart's 10 pesos for 30 minutes... remember inig-konek nimo mupatak dayon ang charge per hour so kung mugamit ra ka ug less than 15 minutes, sa Globe 5 pesos ra ang makuha sa load, unlike sa Smart, bisag 1 minute ra imong gamit, 10 pesos na dayon ang kaltas.

2. Gwapa ang models sa Globe Tattoo commercials hehehe... ug cool ilang designs sa USB modem.

Regarding sa signal, I guess it all depends sa area.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!!

Hinay kaayo ang signal namo diri sa haus, then nag-research ko sa lain-lain nga fora... one "forumer" suggested external antenna or booster cable... naa kuno ni sa CDR King tig P300 man tingali.

Then I researched some more and came across DIY signal boosters - daghan ni sa youtube, metacafe, etc.

Very simple ra... I used an aluminum soda can, fashioned it into a parabolic design and placed the USB modem at the middle... EFFECTIVE kaayo! Kataw-anan lang ug dagway pero effective. perteng kusoga sa akong GLobe Tatoo ron

Try lang... and research some more, you'll be "pleasantly" surprised what you'll discover, like I did...

mas paspas gyud ang smartbro especially kato ZTE MODEM nila (orange color) paspas na kay sa HUAWEI modem.... tried and tested nana nako... ako sad gi open line ang 2 MODEM (GLOBE TATTO huawei and SMART BRO zte).... using globe sim same location and same laptop.... paspas gyud ang globe using ZTE modem kay sa HUAWEI.. so i suggest buy smartbro (orange)

i live near usc.. bati jud kaayo if globe tattoo.. sUUPPPEEERRRR hinay jud... nagpa line nlng jud mi sa pldt kay d jud madala ang kahinay.. dont know sa smart bro tho...

i dont know lang if pas2x ang location ninyo.. but if ako lang.. magpa line nlng ko.. hehe.. unli pa.. kaysa pay ka 20/hr nga perting hinaya

brod you can try using globe tattoo usb modem..they have this model with a port for extra antenna connection. If your problem is poor signal inside the dorm of you sister then you can put an external antenna outside the dorm, mount it outside somewhere (let say outside the window) that signal is good then connect it to that port...
