PSP Help

Hi guys. I'm quite new to this portable gaming scene and I decided to buy a PSP. Pero sa kadugayon na aning PSP ug sa kadaghanun sa model, mag lisud na ko ug pangita ug threads with updated FAQs regarding firmware etc. etc.

Regarding firmware versions, i heard the lower the firmware the better is this true?
Let's say Id get a 5.50 FW, makaplay na ug ISO/CSO files? If no, di ba na pwede ma downgrade? para maka duwa ko without UMD?
Whats with the whole Orig Firmware/Custom Firmware?
I heard later games requires higher firmware version. Example Game "A" requires FW version 6.xx and I carry 5.xx unsa may paagi ana?

Mind you, Ive searched other sources but I can't seem to find something coherent to my questions.

OFW = Original Firmware (firmware released by sony)
CFW = Custom Firmware (firmware released by hackers)

if the PSP is running on OFW, u can NOT play downloaded ISO/CSO games. mao na u need the PSP to run on CFW to download and play the games without UMD.

if u still dont know yet, sony is against that kind of thing (piracy) mao na mag sige silag update/release ug OFW para more security sa ilang PSP. ang latest nga OFW nga pwede nimo mailisan ug CFW is version 5.03. kung magpalit kag PSP ron make sure nga ang OFW nga pre-installed kay 5.03 or below kay kana nga version pwede pa na mailisan ug CFW. conversely, if nakapalit ka then ang pre-installed OFW is above 5.03 (5.50, 6.20) wa kay choice kundi mo gamit lang jud ug UMD kay wa pa man na mahack nga mga versions. mao nang makaingon ta nga the lower the firmware, the better kay pwede man nimo mailisan ug CFW para makaplay ka without UMD.

regarding the latest games, everytime mag release ug games pangitaan man na nilag paagi nga mo run on CFW so u dont have to worry if the game requires the latest OFW.

mao na basically ang idea. hope nasabtan nimo. hehehe.

pde pud pero adto nalang sa international mod site, katong kang dark alex kato siya grae to ^^, ...ayaw lang take og risk sa imo psp basig ma brick ka @_@
