Default Need Your advice on Canon DSLRs!

Mga pros' and mga bossing's.! Good Day ninyo! Im planning to buy a Canon DSLR cam sometime this march. and i need help on what to buy.

First of all, ask lng ko wat inyo i recommend ani nilang duha,
    - Canon 450D or Canon 500D ( and if also, if its not too much to ask, pwede i ingon mga pro's and con's sa both para maka determine ko whick to buy really )
    - And pwede ko mo ask wat ang difference sa kanang Rebel XTi ug Kiss nga canons, really curious lng jud.

Second mga bossings, is that what type of lens can you recommend nga for satisfaction lng? dili pang pro level kay murag mahal2 na. i really like taking pictures with depth of field, ( sakto ba? katong blurry background? )

Third mga bossing, wat accessories can you recommend mga bossings? Like battery grips, UV filters, or rings or pang flash or even LCD screen protector?

Reason why am asking for help is because once i buy the cam, ill be on a journey everywhere here in cebu trying to take every picture scene here, bcoz of my upcoming report on Life here in cebu, ill be taking every shots of every historical landmark, and some pictures of the everyday lives of young and old, rich or poor, cebuanos here. So i just need to be prepared sad, thats why im asking for all the infos i need to know.

So i really need help in getting, not actually a great/expensive DSLR cam, but one worth buying for satisfaction.

Thank you daan sa mga replies, and i hope if ill be good at taking pictures na, i hope i can join IPC.
    Thanks, more power istoryans!

    - ( By the way, ayaw lang ko gai ug links sa mga comparison, kay dili ra ghapon ko kasabot ana, hehe. sorry, noob pjd ko. mas maau if self explained, thanks for the effort, ok lng pd if di mo interested to help. )

    hi,

500d is a 450d with video capability plus some spices. about the pros and cons of the two, check here ---> Canon EOS 500D / Rebel T1i review: Verdict, 500D / T1i vs 450D / XSi vs 50D vs Nikon D5000 vs Olympus E-620 (you MUST read reviews for you to understand things)

type of recommended lens for you is its kitlens. for blurred background, a fast lens will easily do the job but a kitlens can also.

for the accessories, dont buy battery grip, it will just make your camera heavy to carry specially that your on frequent travelling/outdoors. buy extra batteries instead. those xt1 or kissx are just names called in from different countries for marketing purposes. dont buy cheap filters, it will degrade the image quality of your photo. a lens hood is already good for lens protection and prevent stray lights that will degrade image quality. a fiberglass lcd protector is better than plastic lcd protector that peels off easily by time. get an external flashgun, it is very important on low light conditions & controlled light filling. lastly, if you need backup, i can be

by the way, nikon d90 user here(marketing^^)

One good lens and quite cheap is the 50mm/1.8 which is around 4,500-5,000PHP.
If add this to your kit lens it is a good start.

For really wide angle shots the Tokina 11-16/2.8 is nice (32K) or the Canon 10-22 (37K).

    What is your budget?
Lenses can easily be more expensive than your body.
