Oh so there you are, my beloved niconico thread.
Well first off, I know this isn't the thread where I should post this, but consider this a bump >=[
Just finished playing Fate/Stay Night - Fate Route (the one where the anime was based, since its a prerequisite to be able to play the Unlimited Blade Works route and the Heaven's Feel route)
some screencaps at my last moments with saber...bawwwwwwwww.

Never thought of trying FSN because i haven't crossed an all ages version of it, similar to Wind -a breathe of Heart- (never played an eroge, can you believe that? ahahaha xD). But that's a weird ending, dude.. Kinda hanging and all.. That "try again" message sure is disappointing lol.

@Touhou: Last time i played Touhou, it was two or three years ago. And i remember i dl'd the Japanese one. I can't exactly remember what particular Touhou game it was, but i clearly remember i sucked at it. :/
All those bullets / danmaku thingies were hard to get through..

edit: lol i'm not that updated with Touhou news, but lol that video made it to CNN? XDDDDDDD

Just keep playing and soon you'll get used to it lol, remember my first time trying and I can't even kill the first boss.
Touhou 10.5 and 07.5 aren't bullet hell though, its a fighting game just like street fighter.

And just ignore the h-scenes, throughout the whole fate route, there were only 2 of those.
The 3 day later message probably means to take a while off f/sn, well thats literally what it means but yeah, once you finish fate route (which is the only one available at the start) you get to "unseal" the other routes, Unlimited Blade Works - which mainly tells about archer, and Heaven's Feel - don't know about this one. But still, you can "force" to open UBW route even if you haven't finished Fate route yet, but the ending you are gonna get is an unavoidable bad end.
And no...to "go to" those routes, you don't go and choose them at the menu, but you choose the "right" answers during the game, well you know how visual novels work right? lol

i was up to episode 6, iirc. That was when i was following it weekly, and then my hdd broke and couldn't buy a new one for 3 months. And then i forgot to continue watching it. I've been meaning to though..

I think one factor that didn't make me continue was the.. uhh.. opening song? ahaha.. xD kidding. But it was pretty lame.. D:

@Touhou: I remember i was pretty confused with the stuff that was going on in the screen lol. But yeah, i might try dl'ing it again once my pc gets back. I like how many the characters are lol. A lot of them have nice character designs.

Well you probably don't get why I'm bawwwwwwww'ing with the ending, here's a brief explanation;
servants=heroes from the past/future/present, be it legends/people who really once existed.
Saber=irregular servant for the holy grail war, made a promise that she will obtain the holy grail, and because of that when she was about to die - time stops for her and she gets herself to be summoned as a servant (not her first time joining the war).
Saber=King Arthur (but in fate/stay night, Arthur is actually a girl pretending to be a guy during her life time because she is the King.)
Winning the holy grail war grants the winner 1 wish, but not really just that simple wish and then there goes the result, you are gonna sacrifice other people to be able to gain that wish, equivalent exchange. But shirou doesn't want that, and so does saber. So they decided to break the holy grail.

Doing so means that saber will disappear as a servant and go back to her original timeline, and also time for her will flow again and she will die. But even knowing that fact, they still broke the grail...

And that's why its sad. lol

The previous versions aren't made for windows/pc, reason why the oldest version there is 6.
Some of them might not have the english patch yet, but you can easily find one with google.

Saying cute is an understatement...its way beyond cute.

And...that ends my f/sn journey, or not..but I won't be trying HF route any time soon. 2 routes, Fate and UBW...both ends with saber going back to her time, though I'm still figuring out how to get the good ending with UBW instead of the "true" ending.
Well, nevermind me finishing UBW..seems like there are 2 more endings other than heaven's feel left.

There's no saber lily at the visual novel
Only the blue one and Saber Alter (black one)
Saber Alter is at heavens feel..and yeah it'll be a really huge spoiler not just for you but also me lol, don't know how she turned into saber alter, but my guesses are she was fully controlled by caster using her noble phantasm or by shinji/sakura matou's grandfather.
