    Default Purist Photography

Calling out mga Purist Photographers... Please Post your pics here... (landscape, portrait, wedding, etc.)
This will serve as an inspiration to all... Specially to those na nag-start pa...
Please provide these details when you post: Shutter Speed, Aperture & ISO, if possible also add time of day and lighting conditions (sunny day, fluorescent light, etc...)

Pure photography: refers to photography that attempts to depict a scene as realistically and objectively as permitted by the medium, renouncing the use of manipulation

    Thanks!

salamat abortretryfail & uyarchie for the suggestion... let's not make "purist" complicated lang mga bro.. basta no editing lang... para way lalis.. salamat...

nothing is pure these days... my opinion... unless if you are using film without post processing... that "can be" called pure...

  3. #3
if that's the case then film can't be called "pure" either as it still goes
through some processing during the developing and printing stages.

using slide film on the other hand

so I guess this thread is more on technical exposure which is basically
trying to capture a scene in a photo as it is in real life with just the
manipulation of iso, aperture, and shutter speed rather than digital
    manipulation.

and, oh yeah, without also adding additional light... sorry strobist

opposite of that would artistic exposures using iso, aperture, and
shutter speed... and maybe even filters to capture a scene creatively
without photoshop. like making a place look dark and dreary or
capturing smooth-glass-like water through long exposure.
