Depende ra man gyud na bro. This is my first overclocked rig so li ko ka attest in terms of the lifespan. Main nga cause ra man jud sa deterioration sa usa ka component IMO is heat. If regulated ang temp ug ang voltage, then it should not differ that much compared to a cpu running at stock. Anyway my next upgrade will in 6mos. to 1 year mauna wala au ko gahuna-huna sa lifespan.

- Intel C2Q6600 | 2.4GHz | 8MB L2 | 1066FSB | Kentsfield | 65nm | LGA775 @ 3.6GHz
** basically of same performance range as the e8400, LUCKY ME... swapped with Envy 64Ht's C2Q6600 | G0 stepping.

- Abit P35e | LGA775 @ 2k from recycle bin

i love its processing power..cuts through adobe CS3 like chainsaw on a butter.
at 3.6GHz..it makes me more addicted to my games.

from 4ghz for almost a month (24/7) down to this (3.5ghz)..



pra nko d kau useful ang 4ghz f mag browse2x lng sa net o mag watch movies(all types hehe) sa pc hehehe..
