creative na soundcard payts na. onboard ako gamit karon realtek man ni ang chipset niya.
Asus Xonar Essence STX user here...
on board realtek mani ako bro.. .
OT: is it necessary to have a sound card jud bro? mostly naa man onboard gud but wud that suffice?
not necessarily...
but if you really have to upgrade both your audio and video engine,
make sure you're not just upsizing them,
but also upgrading them...
upgrading a 128mb video engine to 512mb wouldn't be that significant a change in performance
(or wouldn't make a big difference)
unless, if its a card, in that case, you can sell it, so you can save like a hundred pesos.
but usually with the onboard VCs, you can't just pull them out and say
"oh, here's my 128mb VC, you wanna buy it?"
creative vs yamaha vs m-audio
creative vs m-audio... m-audio beats creative as far as sound quality is concerned, but of course, with creative, you'll get plenty of features...which is why, a lot of gamers would use it
yamaha vs m-audio.. depends on the model... but at least with this two, you are assured of a good sound quality...
@TS from 128mb to 512mb that is a great bump bro considering sa highend models. it does make a big difference a proof is slideshow at higher textures minimized by bigger rams.
