i agree with this... its very important to use our logic before commiting to any belief.. we shouldnt just accept the religion we were born with.. failure to ask yourself bout your beliefs is blind faith..

personally, i dont think becoming an athiest is mindless.. in fact, becoming an athiest takes a lot of mental excercises and soul searching.. almost nobody is born an athiest, ever since where children, we are taught some form of religion.. to go against that requires lot of mental activitiy

its just like converting to another religion, you have to delibirate first if you believe on the religion you will embrace...

there are more mindless christians/muslims/jew/hindu/etc than the mindless athiests.. simply because, they were born with their religion, many of them failed to question their beliefs.. almost all athiest questioned their previous beliefs...

saying becoming an athiest is evil is just like saying a christian converting to islam is also evil...

Catholicism is closely connected and similar to athiesm. We are born with false religion(Catholicosm) that is why many converted to athiesm some muslim and some protestantism.
Your reason for swicthing to atheism is largely based on social and environmental stimulus. Catholicism gives such false doctrine that its so obvious that their teachings are illogical.

All im saying is Atheism and religion can be used to delude a person. Atheism can lead to communism. An inferior form of government who practices no freedom of speech and religion. And given time athiest can evolve into a tyrant.

I believe you didn't study the scriptures enough to make you choose Athiesm its because of convenience and social acceptability is your main reason that you choose athiesm not logic.

Again the wages of sin is death. These as you say innocent people where infact are murderers, and idolators. Given time these people would destroy themselves with utter foolishnes, lawlessness and in time would result in self destruction that is why what must be done must be done to stop them from destroying the good people along themselves.
God does not punish a person for no reason punishment for the wicked is the basis of his judgement.

Example is have you seen the ten commandments its a classic movie. God sends the angel of death to kill all the first born of egypt. Why? If you read the whole story years before this incident the Pharoa passed a decree to kill all first born jewish children and babies. That is why justice must be served.

would that be just?? in that very statement you're already saying that in General those who died were all either murderers or idolators or sinners.. isn't that considered judging?? i believe we have that passage in the bible which forbid us to judge people, because we're not on our grounds to judge them... and would that be logical to say that "God ..... is the judge of the wicked and godless." if one of those who were killed don't have any God at all?? how certain are we that the God we're saying is the real God who made all those tragedies??
