hahays. sori been busy lately. XD
PROS and CONS bah?
I already mentioned that you'd be adding power consumption with fanned ones. pros for that: mga peeps why would you put a fan in a heatsink even naa na, even ingon sila ok na daw (like my LGA775 HS) obviously to improve air flow inside your rig and not only to cool you proc. you should know previously, cool processor temperatures came at the expense of high-priced heatsinks equipped with high CFM, 60+ dBA fans or a high-priced water-cooling kit. there are already super silent HSF out now kung problema nimu silensio.
now, if you noticed mas bigger na ang fanless heatsinks karun for CPUs and GPUs for optimal heat dissipation,to the point nga naay minimal clearance usually found near sa first DIMM.bisan unsa pa na KADAKO imu housing/casing, kung sikit ayo pagka design sa mobo. render your heatsink useless. kung fannless ka kay ang mga fanless HS karun kay dagku. self-explanatory nmn cguro ni. another thing, we are in a tropical country. dli jud recommended to go fanless.ako gani migo naka liquid cooling naka fan man gali.why? kay naay tendency mu condense. One thing I came about is that air is a near perfect insulator.<--sabta nlng. fannless will take space para air convection. notice the distance between sa fins sa HS sa fan and fanless.
I've said my piece. daghan pa na cia. sori kay dli nako ma say tanan kay mu depende jud na sa product. what Mr. EarlZ mentioned nga audible noise pero, why am I enjoying the super silent setup sa akoa HSF like not having a fan sa HS nako.see? another thing, some HS may strain your mobo kung bog.at iya material. these will take up much space-hassle i setup-hassle i limpyo, dli lang ang w/ fan apil sad ang fanless. (some of these g pang mention nako kay naa sa given links if you only took the time to read)
kamu nlng segregate which is which and its PROS and CONs.XD daghan pa na cia bai pros and cons. peace.
