So i just got my Smart phone bill and noticed a 3,263.31 charge on DATA CHARGES. So here's the thing...My hubby arrived Dec.27 so I got to use his Iphone. Its not even the latest. Its just 16g 2g Iphone. I inserted my sim and tried connecting to the Internet through Smart settings. But I wasn't able to connect coz apparently my provider's settings are not installed. So I called up customer service and asked where and how can I get their setting. The agent said, Smart dont got settings for Iphones. So I guess I would just have to deal with free WiFi in order to connect.
I called up customer service today and here's what they said. For some reasons my sim would connect to the Internet after I surf using Wifi. And I was shocked to hear that! Why didn't the agent told me that when I first asked for the settings?! Why would I be effin billed for something I didn't even used?! The agent was even saying that maybe my Iphone is defected. Wth? They can't even give me a valid excuse.
So anyways I'm just venting. I will go to NTC soon and report this. Hopefully the other Smart postpaid subscribers on Iphone would learn from this.
