IMO, 12k gaming rig for a new platform may not be enough...suggest you stick with that intel rig and only upgrade procie, graphics and psu....btw can you give specs memory for your current rig?

if you would really like to migrate to AMD , suggest you sell the intel rig first and add it to your 12k at least you will have enough room to move budgetwise

from looking from it bro no dili nindut mag upgrade ka with this specs lang kay dili siya bang for the buck anyway ma salvage paman na nimo imo rams na ddr2 ug ang imong onboard maskin sa 780 na chipset is an entrylevel na gamit nko karon maskin l4d or cod6 lowest settings abot pa gani 170fps lol hahah ug ang processor na imo gi pili like x250 is good enough.

anyway, my overall budget for the upgrade is 12K.
the upgrade will only include the following:

motherboard
processor
video card
memory

my old intel pc have the following spec:

pentium D 940 3.2Ghz
2Gb DDR2 Memory

I am checking out AMD 7-Series Chipsets (phenom) right now pero mura mulapas siya sa akong budget if ever kani akong paliton. Question: do I really need an above average cooling system for phenom? kusog daw kuno kaayo ni mo-init but it is really good gyud daw.

please give me price range nalng pud sa inyong suggestions para akong ma weigh pud.
