STEP 1
Does he spend a lot of time with you? This may be tricky. If he's your friend to begin with, he'll most likely spend a lot of time with you. If he's simply an acquaintance, however, and spends a lot of time with you, this may be clue number 1 to a positive answer. Does he go out of his way to hang out with you?

Step2
How often does he call you? Phone conversations outside of school,work, and your normal everyday environment may be an indication that he enjoys your company, the sound of your voice, and is generally curious as to who you are as a person.

Does he seem eager to impress? Guys sometimes go out of their way and show off when there is a girl near them that they like.

Step4
Look at his eyes. Are they dilated? Often times dilated eyes are a sign of infatuation.

Step5
Touch. Does he nudge you often or give you a playful punch? If there is a lot of touch going on, you can be sure that someone has interest in you.

Step6
Does he compliment you often? Compliments are ways of showing part of a guy's true feelings.

Step7
Joking around. If he jokes around with you a lot and sometimes uses you as the key part of his joke, he may be flirting with you.

Step8
Think hard about all of these steps and count how many apply to you. If many do, there's a good chance you may soon have a significant other
